General Alert

Service level increases to take effect May 17, 2021

In order to continue the COVID-19 recovery for Codiac Transpo, service levels will be increasing by adding afternoon service on three routes, effective Monday, May 17, 2021. This service level increase will equate to 65 additional hours of service in different parts of the City each week and responds to increased demand on certain routes.

51 Green Line

Effective Monday, April 5, there will be a slight change to the routing on Route 51-Green Line. Currently, this line travels on Weldon Street, takes a left at Dufferin Street, and then right at High Street. As of April 5, it will travel on Weldon until it takes a left at Park street, a Right on High Street, and then proceed with it’s routing.





61 Elmwood

Detour Notice: 61-Elmwood

Due to construction taking place on Hennessey Road, 61-Elmwood will be detoured as of tomorrow, Thursday, May 6, 2021 until approximately mid-July, 2021.

Instead of travelling from McLaughlin onto Hennessey, 61-Elmwood will take a right on Liberty Crescent, a right on Columbus Avenue, and a right onto Fairview Knoll Drive to continue it’s routing on Hennessey. The stops affected are located at 358 Hennessey and at 258 Hennessey.

63 Lewisville

There will be slight changes in this route on the reverse direction to improve safety and reduce the number of left turns required. As a result, some stops will no longer be serviced. Passengers can view the impacted stops and updated schedule online here






66 Caledonia


Due to safety concerns,effective December 02, 2020,  route #66 Caledonia is being re-directed as follows on it's return trip from Pinetree Estates to the Avenir Centre: Elmwood Dr., Donald Ave., Church St., O'Brien Ave., St. George St., Vaughan Harvey Blvd., Main St., back on regular route. The route from Avenir Centre to Pinetree remains unchanged. There will no longer be a stop at 86 Weldon or 40 Weldon for route #66 Caledonia. These stops will still be in service for other buses. New stops will be located at 357 St. George St. (in front of Hakim Optical at the intersection of St. George St. and Highfield St.) and in front of the Lions Community Centre (473 St. George).







68 Salisbury

Route changes will take effect on Sunday, March 14 affecting this route. 

This route will no longer travel along Chapman Street. The route will run directly from Salisbury Road to the Avenir Centre, along Main Street only. The following bus stops will be out of service: Lorentz/Falkland, Falkland/Mount Royal, and all stops along Chapman with even civic addresses.




81 Riverview

81-Riverview will continue to operate and service it’s current area when the 86-Park & Ride is not in operation. For the updated schedule for Route 81 that will take effect on April 5, 2021, please visit this timetable.
