Codiac Transpo operates on certain holidays throughout the year. These holidays offer modified schedules (not the full network) which are made available a few days before the holiday.
The Transit Governance Committee has approved transit service on the following holidays:
-
Canada Day- Friday, July 1, 2022
-
Thanksgiving- Monday, October 10, 2022
-
Remembrance Day- Friday, November 11, 2022
Given September 30 (National Day for Truth and Reconciliation) is not a provincial statutory holiday, Codiac Transpo offers regular service.
These holidays have been selected for modified service by the Transit Governance Committee since Thanksgiving is generally a day for family gatherings, and Remembrance Day and Canada Day are two days with City-organized events for residents.
In 2022, Codiac Transpo will not be operating on the following holidays:
-
New Years Day- Saturday, January 1, 2022
-
Family Day- Monday, February 21, 2022
-
Good Friday- Friday, April 15, 2022
