Restrictions and Guidelines

The City of Moncton bylaw H-7 prohibits smoking in public bus shelters. 

No food, drink, or pets are permitted on public transit (exceptions include guide dogs).

Shirts and shoes must be worn.

Transporting Dangerous Goods

Baby Strollers/Walkers

Please be advised for safety reasons all baby strollers must be folded before entering the bus and stowed behind a seat. Walkers must be stowed behind a seat. The aisle must be kept clear. If you have any questions, please call the Director of Operations at 506-857-2008 between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

WiFiFree Wifi

All Codiac Transit busses are now equipped with onboard broadband Internet. Moncton was the first city in Canada to provide this free service for its customers.

Express Route

Express route buses run along five main stops (Champlain Place, 111 Main, Northwest Centre, Plaza Boulevard, Highfield Square) every 15 minutes from 6:45 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 7:15 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sundays. Free wireless Internet is available on the Express bus routes.

Seniors Ride Free

Seniors 65+ ride free on Wednesdays.  Proof of age required.
