NOTICES

Summation of adjustments during Plaza Blvd. construction (August 29th through to mid-October):

Codiac Transpo will be diverting buses to the newly constructed bus layby on the south side of Plaza Blvd. while construction of the new north side bus layby takes place.  We apologies for the inconvenience this will cause to our customers as re-routing of all buses connecting at the Plaza transfer point will be necessary.  Please review the following adjustments carefully.  These detours and adjustments will be in effect for at least 6 to 8 weeks commencing August 29th through to mid-October.  Thank you for your patience during this construction period.

50 Red Line
The red line will leave CF Champlain and take its normal route to the off ramp to Trinity.  Instead of turning left on Mapleton it will continue straight along Trinity, turn left on Mountain, left on Plaza to the new south side bus layby.  Leaving the Plaza transfer point this bus will continue to the Carson on ramp at which time it will travel directly to CF Champlain.  Due to the pacing of the above route the 50 Red Line will not have time to travel into U de M.  All passengers going to the university will be required, during the construction period, to transfer to the 61 Elmwood A bus at CF Champlain. (Route Map)

51 Green Line
The 51 Green Line will not loop around Wheeler to enter Plaza Blvd.  Instead, from Mountain Road  this bus will turn right on Plaza Blvd.  Leaving the Plaza transfer point this bus will travel to the end of Carson Street where it will turn and travel back along Plaza, left on Mountain then resume its regular run. (Route Map)

62 Hildegard
From Hildegard this bus turns right on Laforge, left on Pasadena, right on Mountain Road but will not turn left on Trinity but will continue along Mountain to Plaza to the new south side bus layby. Leaving Plaza it will turn left on Mapleton, left on Trinity to Mountain and will then resume its regular route.  This is the most direct route from Plaza Blvd. to Trinity.  Please note however, that this bus does not be looking into the Cineplex, it will remain on Trinity. (Route Map)

65 Killam
From Purdy and then Mapleton this bus will turn left on Trinity, right into the Cineplex, back to Trinity, left on Mountain, left on Plaza to the new south side bus layby.  Leaving the transfer point, it will turn right on Mapleton and resume its regular route.  Anyone wanting to go directly into the Cineplex will need to transfer to this bus. You should know however, that it will only travel into the Cineplex on its return trip.  This is the only bus traveling to the Cineplex stop.(Route Map)

70 Mapleton (Previously the 70 Frampton…please visit Codiactranspo.ca for overall changes to this route other than the detour outlined here)
For the period of construction this route will not travel on Trinity.  From Mountain Road it will turn left onto Plaza stopping at the new south side bus layby then turning left on Mapleton to the Trans Canada. (Route Map)

71 Coliseum
For the period of construction this route will not travel on Trinity.  Travelling down Mountain Road this bus will turn left on Plaza and will stop at the new south side layby.  Leaving the Plaza transfer point this bus will travel to the end of Carson Street where it will turn and travel back along Plaza, left on Mountain then will resume its regular route. (Route Map)

Magnetic Hill
Magnetic Hill Shuttle will also re-route to the new layby on the south side of Plaza Blvd.  Leaving  Magnetic Hill to Mountain, PLAZA, Mapleton, Trinity, Mountain and return to Magnetic Hill. (Route Description) (Route Description)
